The Next stop is…hollywood

The Next Stop is a tiny ten minute play that made it to the Short + Sweet Perth finals. It was directed by up and coming, Jessica Brooke, starring Laura Goodlet and Sarah Lightness.

It has since floated over to the northern hemisphere and landed in the hands of award winning director, Tracy Ward from the Bay Area, California. Tracy has cast Jordana Oberman and Jessica Nielson and has been rehearsing over Zoom. She intends to fly to LA and produce the work for the Short + Sweet Hollywood Festival, at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre.

Whaaat?! Yep…I said…HOLLYWOOD.

It follows a slightly awkward, tense interaction between two women who meet on a bus. I can’t tell you much more. But I can tell you that on one short bus trip they discover the bond of a lifetime.
